Digital asset administration agency HashKey Group has acquired regulatory approval from the Securities and Futures Fee (SFC) of Hong Kong to increase its over-the-counter (OTC) commerce choices.
HashKey Group had acquired two licenses from the SFC, permitting the agency to commerce securities tokens and supply automated buying and selling providers. Nonetheless, HashKey’s shoppers had been solely restricted to commerce tokens solely listed on the platform.
HashKey announced on Feb. 24 that it had obtained regulatory approval to supply an off-platform digital asset buying and selling OTC enterprise in partnership with Hash Blockchain Restricted (HBL).
With the SFC’s approval, HashKey can act as an middleman to facilitate trades from its shoppers even when they want to commerce tokens not listed on the change’s order guide.
HashKey president Michel Lee stated that the SFC’s approval would permit the buying and selling agency to offer its shoppers with extra funding choices in a safe and clear atmosphere.
Lee added that the agency was engaged on launching HashKey PRO- a regulatory-compliant change designed to foster elevated belief and transparency amongst buyers.
